3. Registration & User Account
Registration is required to use the app.
Data collected:
- Email address
- Password (stored in encrypted form)
- Usage and profile data within the scope of the app’s functions
Purpose of processing:
- Provision of a personal user account
- Management of the device connection
- Traceability of device information and settings
- Warranty processing under statutory warranty rights (if required)

4. Bluetooth Connection to the Tilsberk HUD
The app connects to the Tilsberk Head-Up Display via Bluetooth.
Data collected:
- Device information (model, firmware version)
- Connection status
- Function-related telemetry data during use
Purpose:
- Establishing and maintaining the connection
- Transferring and displaying riding information
- Firmware updates / configuration data

5. App Feature: Location Data
The app uses location data when necessary for HUD functions.
Data collected:
- GPS position
- Movement data (speed, direction of travel)
- Location permission on the mobile device
Purpose:
- Navigation
- Displaying relevant riding information in the HUD
- Map functions (Google Maps)
- Determining speed and route functions
Note: Location data is not stored permanently and is not used for tracking or analytics.

6. Push Notifications
We use push notifications to inform you about relevant events or status messages within the app.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent)
You can disable this function at any time in your system settings.
7. Service Used: Google Maps
The app uses Google Maps to display maps and to process location data.
Provider:
Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland
Data processed:
- IP address
- Location data (if enabled)
- Usage and movement data within the map application

8. No Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not disclose personal data to third parties unless:
- this is necessary to perform a contract,
- we are legally obliged to do so, or
- you have given your consent.
9. Retention Period
User data is stored for as long as the user account exists.
Location and telemetry data are not stored permanently.
Log files are processed only for a short period to ensure app stability and are deleted automatically.
After the account is deleted, personal data will be deleted without undue delay, unless statutory retention periods apply.
