APP UPDATE 2024 // Improved GPX import, new functions & extended route planning

03/27/2024 The latest update of the Tilsberk HUD app for 2024 is live: It includes an optimized GPX import, new features & improved route planning. The focus was on refining your user experience and making route planning more efficient.

Your user feedback was the key to our new update! We are now pleased to present the 2024 season update for the Tilsberk HUD app. Over the past few months, we have worked not only to improve the app, but also to make it easier and more convenient for you to plan and carry out your motorcycle tours.

A key feature is the improvement of the integrated GPX import in the app. We have optimized the way the import works so that the characteristics of your routes are now even better preserved.

We have also implemented a tour memory in the app. You can now save not only destinations, but entire tours in the app. No matter how many adventures you are planning, you can save every single tour and access them from anywhere thanks to the free user account. So your adventures are just a click away!

Do you want to plan day trips or even journeys lasting several days with the app and use routes from other applications? Then simply import them into our Tilsberk HUD app and conveniently save individual stages in your tour memory. With free maps for many countries worldwide, free updates and the option to navigate offline, our app, together with Tilsberk Head-Up Display, will get you safely and reliably to your destination.

With the new cooperation with Kurviger, we are taking tour planning in the Tilsberk HUD app to a higher level - more flexibility and functionality when planning your trip. With the premium version, you get advanced, motorcycle-specific planning options with particularly twisty roads, navigation of round trips, real-time traffic data and a smarter GPX import function that allows you to cleverly avoid obstacles on your route. This ensures flexible adaptation to the current traffic situation and optimizes your ride. Points of interest specially developed for motorcyclists supplement the map material. You can also plan your routes in detail in advance with the browser application on your PC or Mac included in the premium version and use them across all devices. You can now plan your tours on your computer before you start your journey.

With this update, you get a comprehensive tool for your trip planning that combines advanced settings for routes and a variety of customizable options, like finding twisty roads. The new planning interface is based on the established German app "Kurviger" and is available exclusively via the Tilsberk HUD app.

If you're thinking: "That sounds great, but I want to test it first.", then we have good news: You can test the Premium version free of charge for 14 days. After that, you have the option of taking out a monthly subscription for €6.99 or an annual subscription for €29.99.

Navigation with Calimoto was already integrated last year. As a Calimoto user, you can select the Tilsberk Head-Up Display directly in the Calimoto app and pair it via Bluetooth. So, you now have the choice between three different planning options: our integrated navigation, Calimoto or Kurviger.

In summary, the free version of our Tilsberk HUD app offers sufficient riding pleasure for every type of motorcycle tour. And if you not only want to use the app for navigation, but also as a fully-fledged tour planner, you can opt for the premium version.
